Established in 1968, Sapulpa Equine Hospital has been serving Tulsa, Oklahoma and the surrounding areas for over 40 years, and is proud to be home of the 2011 Oklahoma Equine Practitioner of the Year. Furthermore, it is the only equine hospital in northeast Oklahoma to have both a board certified surgeon and board certified internal medicine specialist on staff. It is a full service Equine Medical and Surgical Facility having doctors with experience totaling over 85 years.

The diversity of our doctor’s experience and training allows Sapulpa Equine Hospital to offer routine preventative medicine, advanced surgical procedures, in-depth internal medicine diagnostic procedures, complex lameness examinations, and thorough pre-purchase examinations. Diagnostic procedures able to be performed include: Digital Ultrasonography, Digital Radiography, Gastroscopy, Upper Airway Endoscopy, In-House Complete Blood Counts and Serum Chemistry. Our surgeons are able to perform numerous surgical procedures including: Arthroscopy, Colic, Cesarean Sections, Upper Airway, Rectovaginal Laceration Repairs, Urethroplasty, and Angular Limb Deformities.

Sapulpa Equine Hospital has a 23 stall facility with 24-hour closed circuit video monitoring on our intensive care stalls for our critical and post-sugical patients as well as the mares we foal out each spring. In addition, heated and air conditioned stalls as well as outdoor paddocks are available to provide adequate exercise to hospitalized patients.

Located 10 miles southwest of Tulsa, Sapulpa Equine Hospital is a convenient referral hospital to northern and eastern Oklahoma, southeastern Kansas, northwest Arkansas, and southwest Missouri. It is one of only a couple equine hospitals in the area that offers 24 hour emergency service that also has the ability to hospitalize patients when necessary to provide surgical and medical care.
